Actor Chaitanya Krishna, who has starred in films such as "Sneha Geetham", "Ala Modalindi" and "Kaalicharan", has authored a book. He says it will help aspiring actors in planning their career move.
Titled "What I Wish I knew Before I Became An Actor", the book will provide information to aspiring actors on how to plan their career effectively before they take the plunge in the industry.
"A lot of aspiring actors enter the industry with the passion to be famous, but when reality hits them hard, they are bogged down. This book will help actors to plan their career in the right way," Chaitanya told IANS.
"When you're five years old in the industry and feel things are not going the way you'd planned, in retrospect you ask yourself if you've made the right decision by entering films. If you know certain things before hand, you know what it takes to be an actor," he said.
Chaitanya, who made his cinematic debut with 2009 Telugu film "Ninnu Kalisaka", says the book is based on his personal experiences in filmdom.
"Each experience in my career so far has some important learning. I wanted to share them," said the actor who finished the book in about six months.
Talking about the content, he said that after every two chapters, "I've included the profiles of a few heroes, heroines and comedians. I spoke to actors who've come with no filmy background and struggled to make a mark like me in the industry."
