At least ten people were killed Tuesday and 18 others injured in blasts in a cinema hall in Pakistan's Peshawar city.

At least three back-to-back explosions were heard when a show was going on in Peshawar's Shama cinema hall, reported Dawn online.

At the time of the blasts, about 70 people were watching a film.

Initial media reports said seven people were killed and 30 were injured.

Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the injured people to the Lady Reading Hospital.

Shama cinema hall is located at the Bacha Khan Chowk area of Peshawar, the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The blasts came 11 days after a similar attack hit the Picture House Cinema situated in Kabuli Bazaar area of Peshawar.
