Stroking well on either flank, Neeraj Elangovan from Tamil Nadu overcame fourth seeded Adavelly Kumara (Andhra Pradesh) 6-3, 6-2 to annex the boys singles title in the AITA Adidas-MCC Junior National tennis championship (Under-18) here Saturday.
The girls singles too proved to be rather one-sided with top seed Snehadevi S. Reddy, also from Tamil Nadu, easing past State-mate Samhitha Sai 6-3, 6-1, to clinch the crown.
