Congress leader Shashi Tharoor Friday said the BJP's plan to "address economic concerns" was a "vague" statement.
"The BJP government is claiming it would address the economic concerns... but it is a vague statement. The party's stand on reforms in the infrastructure sector is equally vague," Tharoor told media persons here.
He said the Bharatiya Janata Party's proposal for "e-auction" was a welcome step, but the same could have been implemented in BJP-ruled Gujarat where "land has been given cheap to the corporates".
On the BJP's plan to attract investment, he said the party earlier opposed FDI when it was in the opposition.
He claimed the BJP's plan to have a "people-oriented system" was a nod to the policy followed by the Congress.
