After being together for 14 years, Amy Purdy and Daniel Gale of "The Amazing Race" fame are finally married.
"We felt it was just finally time to come together and make a commitment to each other," Purdy, 35 - who announced her engagement to Gale, 39, in May - was quoted as saying by people.com.
The former contestants of "The Amazing Race" exchanged vows on Saturday afternoon in front of approximately 160 guests at The Barn at Hidden Springs in Boise, Idaho.
"I am not an over-the-top kind of person. I just wanted it to feel outdoorsy and simple. It's all very Bohemian," the double amputee and "Dancing with the Stars" runner-up said of the rustic setting of the celebration.
After a battle with bacterial meningitis, Purdy now has two prosthetic legs.
