"The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and actress Amy Schumer with "Inside Amy Schumer" emerged as top winners in Variety category of Emmy awards at the 67th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony here.
The annual television award ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater here on Sunday.
"The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" took an Emmy in Variety Talk Series category, Directing for a Variety Series category and Writing for a Variety Series category, while actress Schumer clinched her first Emmy in the Variety Sketch Series.
Other nominations in the Variety Talk Series were: "The Colbert Report", "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver", "The Late Show With David Letterman" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallona".
Chuck O'Neil of "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" pipped Amy Schumer and Ryan McFaul ("Inside Amy Schumer"), James Hoskinson ("The Colbert Report"), Jerry Foley ("Late Show with David Letterman") and Dave Diomedi ("The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallona") to take home the Emmy in the Directing for a Variety Series.
Schumer registered her first Emmy win after taking away the home by competing with "Drunk History", "Key & Peele", "Portlandia" and "Saturday Night Live".
Schumer, who has also appeared in romantic comedy "Trainwreck", thanked her team, her sister, and the makeup artist who did her smokey eyeshadow look, in her acceptance speech.
