Three people, including the son of an accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, were arrested for supplying banned drugs here, police said Wednesday.
Chander Shekhar, 32, and Dharam Raj, 23, were arrested from east Delhi's Trilokpuri while Javed Khan, 25, was arrested from Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly area, police said.
Police recovered about 3.34 kg of heroin valued at Rs. 12 crore from them.
Chander Shekhar, whose father was arrested in five riot cases in 1984, and Dharam Raj used to sell the contraband to drug addicts in Delhi.
"The consignment was procured by Javed and delivered to Chander Shekhar and Dharam Raj," said a police officer.
Police said Javed was running the syndicate for the past seven years.
