Bookworms and keen readers of biographies are in for a treat as three biographies that attempt to capture the life and evolution of three distinct Indian personalities are slated to release this month.

These biographies, published by Rupa and Aleph, bring the stories of Sachin Tendulkar, Baba Ramdev and Virat Kohli to the fore.

Virat Kohli scored only 10, 12 and 19 runs in his debut domestic ODI and Test matches. Today, he is hailed as one of the greatest batsmen in the world. But how did this transformation come about? "Winning like Virat: Think & Succeed like Kohli" attempts to understand the secrets of his phenomenal success and tells the reader how best to emulate these in life.

The next book on offer, "The Baba Ramdev Phenomenon" offers a detailed account of Ramdev's journey from attaining moksha in the Himalayas to ruling the market, especially the FMCG sector, with his Patanjali products. It captures the rise and rise of Patanjali and the various factors that worked for it, most importantly, the vision of Ramdev and the able assistance of his associate Acharya Balkrishna.

Last but not the least, the readers have an opportunity to flick through "Hero: A Biography of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar," the story of an extraordinary cricketer and the first sportsperson to be conferred the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.

This book showcases the evolution of an incredibly talented teenager from a middle-class household of Mumbai into a world champion and a legend. Starting off with his childhood and early days as a cricketer, the book takes the reader through the pulls and pressures and the moments of ecstasy and agony that one of the greatest sportspersons of all time experienced and surmounted in the course of a glorious career.
