Gurgaon police Monday claimed to have busted a gang of narcotic smugglers with the arrest of three persons and recovery from them of 200 kg of cannabis meant for supplying in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The arrested gang members have been identified as Manoj Bihari from Madhepura district of Bihar, Rajesh Kumar from Sonipat district of Haryana and Kalu Bihari, who has no fixed residence.

The three were arrested Saturday night from near Ghata village. A total of 222 kg of cannabis was seized from them, Joint Commissioner of Police Vivek Sharma told media persons.

Manoj Bihari came to Gurgaon around seven years ago in search of a job and started supplying cannabis in small pouches.
