Three members of an inter-state gang dealing in drugs have been arrested and over five kg heroin valued at Rs 20 crore seized, police said on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said Deepak, 35, Rajesh Kumar, 39, and Neeraj, 29, are residents of Delhi.
He said Rajesh was arrested on Sunday near Vivekanand College here with three kg heroin.
"His interrogation led to the arrest of the gang's kingpin Deepak and Neeraj on Monday from different areas of Delhi and 2.1 kg heroin was seized from them," he said.
The police officer said Deepak was peddling drugs for the past two decades and that his family has been involved in the illegal business.
