Three people were killed and one person was seriously injured when an explosion occurred Friday afternoon at a garage of a three-storey building in Paris, Xinhua reported.
The incident occurred in the 10th arrondissement at around 3.45 p.m (local time) in the afternoon at a garage in the basement of a three-storey building on the Rue d'Enghien in central Paris. Beaking down part of the ground floor of the building when four workers were trying to repair the old fuel tanks, local media said.
Firefighters had to evacuate the building to reduce the risk of collapse.
Paris is divided into twenty arrondissements municipaux, administrative districts, more simply referred to as arrondissements.
