Three persons, including an 11-year-old and his mother, were killed and two others of the same family injured when their car was rammed by a speeding Scorpio car on the Kanpur-Lucknow highway on Friday, police said.
The victims include Henry Das (11), his mother Vinita Das (45) and car driver Narendra (45) while the injured have been identified as Sheryl (15) and Virendra, police said.
The family, residents of Lucknow, were going to Kanpur in an Indigo car.
The driver of the Scorpio fled the accident spot.
