Three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists, including two Pakistani nationals, were sentenced to death by a West Bengal fast-track court on Saturday for plotting subversive strikes in Kashmir.

Those sentenced to death by Bangaon Additional District and Sessions Judge Binoy Kumar Pathak are Mohammed Younis and Mohammed Abdullah -- both residents of Karachi in Pakistan - and Indian citizen Mohammed Muzaffar Ahmed for waging war against India.

The three, along with another Indian LeT operative, were caught in Petrapole in North 24 Parganas district on the India-Bangladesh border while trying to sneak into India in 2007.

However, one of the Indian ultras escaped while being taken to Mumbai for investigation.
