The Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday suspended from service three senior officers for the June 6 police firing in Mandsaur, in which at least five protesting farmers were killed.
Those suspended are the then District Magistrate Swatantar Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police O.P. Tripathi, and City Police SP Sai Krishna Thota.
Earlier, the three officers were removed from their posts following the firing.
