Three people trapped under debris after the earth caved in at a site of contruction of the Delhi Metro Monday evening were rescued and taken to hospital for treatment, a fire service official said.
The official said the accident occurred around 5.40 p.m. in north Delhi's Rohini area.
"Two JCB machines were rushed to the spot. The victims have been evacuated from the debris and are being treated at a nearby hospital. No casualty has been reported," the fire officer said.
