Three terrorists killed in Pakistan

At least three militants were killed in Pakistan's port city of Karachi during an exchange of fire between militants and the anti-terrorism unit personnel of CID, media reported Wednesday.

Police personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) claimed to have killed three terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at Northern Bypass in Karachi, Geo News reported.

"The terrorists were planning to target a school when exchange of fire between militants and the anti-terrorism unit personnel of CID took place," said CID in-charge Khurram Waris.

Terrorists have been identified as Gul Pir Khan, Noor Alam and Ameer Muhammad. They were involved in the killing of police, targeted and sectarian killing, extortion and kidnapping for ransom.

 

Police recovered three pistols, two grenade and an IED device from the the killed terrorists.
