At least three South Korean tourists were killed in Egypt Sunday and 13 others injured when an explosives-laden car rammed into the bus they were travelling in.
A car packed with explosives was driven into the tourist bus on the Egyptian Taba border crossing in Sinai Peninsula neighbouring Israel, security sources told Xinhua.
Terrorists have taken the peninsula as a stronghold for their attacks ever since Islamist president Mohamed Morsi was ousted by the military in July 2013.
Over the past few months, the Egyptian army launched many operations in coordination with police to uproot terrorist hideouts in the peninsula.
