A manager at the Kherki Daula toll plaza here Saturday filed a police complaint against a BJP leader for allegedly threatening to kill him and torch the toll plaza, police said.

Maj. (retd) Satanand, project manager at the toll plaza, around 40 km from Delhi, filed a police complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajbir Singh Yadav.

Yadav, who hails from Manesar, also filed a complaint against Satanand on charges of harassing his wife and son in the name of checking.

Satanand said in his complaint that Yadav Friday evening threatened to kill him when he demanded the leader's identity card to prove that he was from Manesar, one of 31 local villages exempted from paying toll.

"We are investigating both the allegations," police said.
