Port of Spain (Trinidad), Dec 5 (IANS/CMC) Trinidad and Tobago international footballer Joevin Jones will play for Chicago Fire in the new Major League Soccer (MLS) season starting next year.
Chicago Fire announced the signing of 23-year-old Jones who joins the club from W Connection following his most recent loan spell at Finnish Veikkausliiga club HJK Helsinki, reports CMC.
Jones who made six appearances in Helinski's successful 2014 league championship campaign joins Chicago Fire on pre-season preparations in January.
"We're pleased that Joevin will be joining the Fire," said Fire head coach Frank Yallop in a statement.
"He's a versatile player and is a great addition as we build a squad that will compete in 2015."
Jones has 37 caps on the international level for Trinidad and Tobago, appearing in competitions like the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup as well as the 2010, 2012 and 2014 Caribbean Cups.

He has also helped his local side W Connection claim their fifth league title in 2013.
