A truck driver and his accomplice have been arrested on charge of stealing an online service aggregator's goods worth over Rs 40 in south Delhi, police said on Thursday.

Accused driver Sanjay Kumar Yadav, 32, and Hukam Dev Yadav, 26, were arrested on Wednesday from Pochanpur village in west Delhi's Dwarka. They are resident of Delhi's Najafgarh and Brijwasan area respectively and natives of Bihar.

Sanjay and Hukam along with one Roshan hatched a plan to steal costly goods during transportation. Sanjay took a room on rent in Pochanpur village on the basis of a fake identity card for storing stolen goods, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh said.

Sanjay loaded a cargo truck with goods, including costly mobile phones, from the Indira Gandhi International Airport on November 6 and set out for a warehouse in Samalkha in Kapasera area.

Midway, near Rangpuri, his two accomplices stole all the goods and took these to Pochanpur village. The empty truck was abandoned near Rajokri flyover on National Highway-8.

Police said Mukesh Kumar, a representative of Resfeber Labs Private Limited, lodged a complaint on November 7 that Sanjay had stolen goods worth over Rs 40 lakh belonging to one of their clients. Police is looking for Roshan who is absconding.
