The Turkish police on Monday detained 11 people in capital Ankara over suspicion of having links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
Counterterrorism forces conducted an operation at dawn to apprehend 15 suspects allegedly linked to PKK.
Two heads of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) district branches of Etimesgut and Mamak were among the detained, Xinhua reported.
The PKK, listed as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the US and the EU, resumed its armed campaign against the Turkish government in July 2015.
Since then, some 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians were killed in PKK attacks, while more than 7,000 PKK members were killed during government operations across Turkey and northern Iraq.
