Seasoned Indian rider Aravind KP continued to improve his performance at Dakar 2019 as he finished 61st in the second round of the race.
KP Aravind on Monday completed the first stage at Dakar 2019 at a lowly 70th position and then finished at 61st spot in the second stage on Tuesday.
After a good start from the Sherco TVS Rally Factory team which has four riders, Michael Metge suffered a fuel outage and found himself at the halfway point with a delay of one and a half hours. He still managed to finish the stage.
On the other hand Lorenzo Santolino, Adrien Metge and Aravind KP made a leap in their rankings. In his first Dakar, Lorenzo finished in the 12th place, riding almost the entire second stage in the top ten.
Adrien finished the race with an overall 16th position while Aravind KP finished 61st and continues his progression at Dakar 2019.
