A 12-minute action scene inside a well in upcoming Tamil thriller "Kandupidi Kandupidi" will be one of the highlights of the film, says its director Ram Subbaraman, who managed to rope in filmmaker Seeman in an important role as well.
"This is the first time an action sequence inside a well has been shot and used in Tamil cinema. The attempt itself makes it special and watching it on screen will just double the excitement. It will be one of the highlights of the film," Subbaraman told IANS.
The film features Tamil filmmaker Seeman in a pivotal role. The director says he couldn't picture anyone else in the character.
"I thought Seeman was perfect in the role. He has an aura that automatically suits for serious roles. He plays a police officer and I had great difficulty in convincing him to play the role. His role adds lot of weightage to the film," he added.
The movie also features Murali and Aishwarya Dev in lead roles.
