Two men were arrested by police on suspicion of supporting a banned organisation in Luton, a town in the British county of Bedfordshire, media reported Tuesday.
the Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism department arrested the two men, aged 37 and 61. Both the men were sent to a police station in Bedfordshire, and still in custody, the Guardian reported.
The two were suspected to be linked to a proscribed organisation.
No more details of the arrests have been released.
Under Britain's Terrorism Act 2000, 63 international organisations have been banned, including Islamic State (IS).
In addition, 14 groups in Northern Ireland related to terrorism have also been proscribed.
