Two people have been arrested for attempting to abduct a woman from outside a city hospital here, police said Tuesday.
Sandeep Yadav, 26, and Babloo Sharma, 22, were arrested from their hideouts in Delhi Tuesday morning for attempting to abduct the 32-year-old woman from outside gate No.1 of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Monday evening.
Both the accused belong to Faridabad.
The Police Control Room got a call at 8.55 p.m. Monday saying that a woman was thrown out from a running car near AIIMS.
The woman, whose name has been withheld by the police, was admitted to the AIIMS since she had received minor injuries.

The accused were arrested after the victim told their names to the police.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Prem Nath said: "The victim was known to both the accused."
The victim, in her statement to the police, said Sandeep had taken Rs.7 lakh from her on different occasions.
"Sandeep had returned Rs.4 lakh but refused to give the remaining money. He started threatening and chasing her when she demanded her money be returned," the police official said, referring to the victim's statement.
He said the woman was on her way home in an auto rickshaw when she noticed Sandeep giving her chase in a car.
The official said: "Sandeep tried to stop the victim's auto rickshaw but failed as the driver did not stop and kept on driving. When the auto rickshaw reached near AIIMS gate number one, Sandeep intercepted the vehicle, dragged the victim from the auto and forcibly tried to make her sit in the car.
"When the victim raised an alarm, she was thrown out of the car while Sandeep and his accomplice escaped from the spot."
