Dubai, Nov 28 (IANS/WAM) A UAE delegation has returned to the country from Paris after winning the right to host the World Expo 2020.
The delegation returned Thursday after attending the voting process to select the host city for the expo.
Dubai won the right to host the World Expo 2020 at the 154th general assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions in Paris Wednesday.
The UAE delegation was headed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, chief executive of Emirates Airline and Group and chairman of Dubai Expo 2020 higher committee.
