Kiev, Oct 26 (IANS/TASS) Ukrainian voters will cast their franchise Sunday to elect a new parliament.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had terminated the existing parliament Aug 25, three months after he came to power.
Opinion polls carried out Saturday revealed that six or seven Ukrainian parties have a chance to get into the new parliament.
The Petro Poroshenko Bloc tops the election ratings with one third of the voters ready to cast ballots for the incumbent president's party.
A total of 4 million people would be casting their votes.
Ukraine's Central Election Commission has registered 2,321 foreign observers, including 19 from Russia, who will participate with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to monitor the poll.
