UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will leave New York on Friday to participate in the summit of the world's 20 largest economies in Antalya, Turkey, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told reporters here Wednesday.

"While in Turkey, the secretary-general will attend working sessions with the world leaders gathered for the Summit, including on development and climate change, growth strategies and employment, as well as terrorism and the refugee crisis," Xinhua quoted Dujarric as saying.

"He will also hold bilateral meetings with other leaders attending the G-20 Summit, including (Turkish) President Recep Tayyip Erdogan," he said.

The secretary-general will be back in New York on the evening of November 16, the spokesman added.
