The body of a woman, appearing to be in her late 20s and possibly murdered, was found here on Friday, said police.
"The body of a female was found dumped by the poolside near Saraswati Kunj shanties in sector 53. Age of the unidentified victim is around 25-28 years," said Gurgaon's Deputy Commissioner of Police (east) Deepak Saharan.
"Prima facie, it seems that she was strangulated with a dupatta wrapped around her neck. Exact cause of death will be established after the post-mortem is carried out," he added.
A case of murder has been registered in Sushant Lok police station.
