As the wholesale price index touched a seven-month high, the BJP Tuesday said every day of the UPA government in office is costing the nation.
"The bad state of affairs is because of misgovernance. Keeping this government in office is costing the country so much... the sooner it goes, the better it will be for the nation," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi told reporters here.
"People are losing jobs, there is no food security... There is no money in the market," she said.
India's wholesale price inflation accelerated to a seven-month high in September and retail inflation snapped its two-month downward trend in the same month, mainly because of higher vegetable prices.
