The US is concerned over the bail granted to Mumbai terror attack accused Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi, a Pakistani newspaper reported Wednesday.
The State Department also said that the resumption of hangings of terrorists sentenced to death in Pakistan was an internal matters for that country.
State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said Washington was concerned over the bail granted to Lakhvi by an Islamabad court.
Islamabad had pledged cooperation in bringing the perpetrators of the Mumbai attack to justice, the spokesperson said, adding she hoped Pakistan would uphold that promise.
At the same time, Pakistan was one country most affected by terrorism, The News International quoted her as saying.

The US "stood ready to provide assistance" to Pakistan following the horrific attack.
Harf said terrorism threatened both the US and Pakistan and they worked jointly to counter this menace.
