Washington, Dec 30 (IANS/EFE) There will be 320.09 million people in the US Jan 1, 2015 - 0.73 percent more than the previous year which saw the population grow by 2.33 million people, the Census Bureau has said.
This figure represents a 3.67 percent increase since April 1, 2010, according to the bureau.
The Census Bureau estimated that the world population will be at 7.2 billion Jan 1, 2015, which is a 1.08 percent increase over the last year.
In January 2015, there will be one birth every eight seconds in the US and a death every 12.
According to projections, international immigration will add one person to the US population every 33 seconds.
