Uttarakhand will soon have a Lokayukta, Chief Minister Harish Rawat said on Saturday.
Emerging out of the meeting of the Lokayukta Selection Committee where assembly Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal, Leader of Opposition Ajay Bhatt, Justices Irshad Hussain and Justice V.K. Bisht were also present, he said some progress has been made in the direction of getting a new Lokayukta and both sides have discussed some names.
A final decision would be made very soon, he added.
