Premier angel-backed start-up accelerator VentureNursery said on Tuesday that it will mentor three start-ups through a 13-week acceleration programme from January.
"Three start-ups will be chose for the ninth acceleration programme after a five-stage selection process. The criteria will be they should be at inception stage and focused on solving an urgent customer need," the incubator said in a statement.
The entrepreneurs will have access to advice from the company's 30 expert members. The selected start-ups can also use the accelerator's resource pool in marketing and finance, strategy and technology execution.
"Our network of 30 professionals and entrepreneurs is committed to helping start-ups reach apole position' in their area of business," VentureNursery's co-founder Shravan Shroff said in the statement.
"Passion to identify a customer's need, a sound plan coupled with bias for execution are integral to building a successful start-up," said co-founder Ravi Kiran.

In all, 16 entrepreneurs graduated from eight acceleration programmes so far.
"We focus on maximising the success potential of start-ups through intensive coaching and mentoring role by helping them with infrastructural and learning support," said Kiran.
Though the members invested in a dozen start ups that have been through the acceleration programme during the last three years, selected start-ups should not look only for funding.
Since 2012, VentureNursery has accelerated 21 start-ups from diverse sectors, of which 16 graduated and 12 are active and growing well.
The successful start-ups include branded budget hotel chain OYO Rooms, video interview platform Talview, fashion and lifestyle social commerce platform Klip, crowd funding platform Catapooolt and traveller and locals connecting platform SeekSherpa.
Others are artificial general intelligence company InvenZone, last minute hotel booking company HotelsAroundYou, curated activity and hobby classes discovery company FindUrClass, on-demand beauty and wellness platform The Home Salon and Fixy,Aan on-demand service platform for handyman, repair and home maintenance services.
VentureNursery alumni ventures have created nearly 1,000 jobs.
