Goodbyes are oft considered to be a gloomy affair, unless it gets charged up with non-stop electronic dance music (EDM) from the house of Axwell. The final day of Vh1 Supersonic 2015 on Wednesday here was all about loud music and louder spirits when the Swedish DJ brought a thumping conclusion to the third edition of the fest.

The event, conceptualised by popular DJ Nikhil Chinapa and Live Viacom 18, began on December 27 on the sands of Candolim beach here.

Well, consider it to be irony or just coincidence as 'Iron Heart' stage, where Axwell was spinning some magic, transformed into a sunrise setting with hues of dawn, which is regarded as a new beginning, painting a melodious image during the final moments of the four-day festival supported with lyrics "Sun is shining and so are you".

Axwell, whose real name is Sven Axel Christofer Hedfors, turned the screen on the stage to be a medium to connect with the music aficionados.

It surely seemed like a "mirror, mirror on the wall" moment every time Axwell appeared on the screen communicating with the audiences and adding a dose of energy.

From dropping a pulsating rendition of "Where are you now", "Lean on", "Take my hand and reload. This is free love" to "Don't you worry, don't your worry", the former member of Swedish House Mafia presented a mesh of his tracks and remixes, leaving the audience wanting for some more.

Another thing that sent the audiences into frenzy was when Axwell said: "I'm looking right at you", "No tomorrow last usage of your time", "I want to make you some noise", with people cheering for him until their voice became hoarse.

Axwell, who treated his session as post Christmas party and pre-New Year bash, played with the emotion of the crowd with lot of modulations with the tempo. Clicking on mute button suddenly just when the main line of the song comes was Axwell's favourite as audience pitched in and filed the void. The moment instantly became a hit with the crowd, which could be seen swaying on the music.

The crowd surfed the waves of emotions and the joyous uplifting throughout his set as he also said: "It's time to get emotional".

The final day also had an affair with colour with different shades playing with the mood, and not to forget the confetti blast.

The sky was also lit up with some dazzling firework, adding a magical and mystical touch to the evening.

"Whenever I am in India it is the same. I don't need to tell you how much I love you. I love you guys...You make the sun shine. Visiting India is special.... See you next time. Now, let's us be louder than fireworks," he said, while waving Indian flag.

The last day summed up the gala affair with performances of international artists to the likes: Grum and Netsky + MC Script, Nervo, Albin Myers and Ayah Marar.

With world's most celebrated music artists from various genres setting the right tempo with their gigs like Disclosure, Adam Beyer, Zeds Dead, Zedd, Nervo, Norman Doray, W&W, Deorro and many more, the fest had an impressive line-up.

Another important dimension of the fest was enhanced security and set-up drones for aerial shots.

It wasn't just about music, the fest also had organised a flea market at the venue, which has something special for everyone.
