A delegation of 15 leading Vietnamese travel agents will participate in the three-day 'Global Exhibition on Services' (GES) being held in the national capital, the country's ambassador here Ton Sinh Thanh said on Wednesday.
The delegation will be headed by the vice president of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
GES, start here on April 23, is a platform to enhance strategic cooperation and develop synergies among the players of the services sector in India with their global counterparts.
More than 40 countries are expected to participate in the fair which would see over 4,000 structured buyer-seller meetings.
Thanh said that after participating in the event, the delegation will conduct roadshows in Hyderabad and Chennai.
"This is a great opportunity for Vietnam to endorse its tourism in India. There is a need to help every one understand that our country is no less than any other South East Asian nation in terms of tourism," he told IANS.
