Spanish football club Villarreal on Thursday announced the signing of Argentine player Cristian Espinoza for five seasons.
Espinoza is a 21-year-old midfielder, who has already played for three seasons in the first division with CA Huracan, reports Efe.
The club has not disclosed further information about the deal but confirmed they had paid the termination clause to sign him.
Reports in Argentina say that Espinoza's termination clause was worth 7.2 million euros ($8 million).
