Vineet Raina joins 'Ishq Mein Mar Jawan' (TV Snippets)

Actor Vineet Raina has been roped in to play a police officer in upcoming TV show "Ishq Mein Mar Jawan".

"I have already started shooting for this new show in Manali. This time around I am yet again playing a very different character of a police officer," Vineet said in a statement.

The show, which will soon be aired on Colors, features Arjun Bijlani and Aalisha Panwar in the lead.

Vineet has appeared in shows like "Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil", "Punar Vivah", "Udaan" and "Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi".

Ashish Kapoor to appear in 'Woh...Apna Sa'

Actor Ashish Kapoor, best known for his roles in shows like "Dekha Ek Khwaab" and "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", will next be seen in "Woh...Apna Sa" as a rich business tycoon, named Samar.

 

"I'm really excited to be a part of 'Woh...Apna Sa', the show has struck a chord with Indian audiences. The show and all its characters are loved by the audience. I have just begun shooting and I am totally loving it," Ashish said in a statement.

"The cast and crew are leaving no stone unturned to make me feel comfortable on the set and help me understand my character well. The unusual storyline and my character were the prime reasons I opted for this show.

"When I was narrated the role of Samar, I agreed instantly. My character Samar is of a good looking business tycoon with a great sense of humour. I hope viewers love me in this challenging avatar of Samar in 'Woh?Apna Sa'," he added.

The show is aired on Zee TV.

Jacqueline goes gaga over 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contestants

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez appeared on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs Season 6" alongside actor Sidharth Malhotra and was in awe of the contestants of the popular children's singing reality show.

Jacqueline was surprised by the talent of Kerala-based Vaishnav Girish, who performed on the song "Alvida" from the 2007 film "Life In A... Metro".

"Vaishnav Girish, I think you're ready to perform live. If you ever perform at a concert, I would specially stand in line to buy a ticket," Jacqueline said.

Not only Jacqueline, her "A Gentleman" co-star Sidharth also was amazed by the talent on the show.

"Thank you for making a show like 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs', as you are encouraging these talented young singers to accomplish their dreams. It is amazing the kind of talent that this platform has to offer and above all you are giving them the confidence to recognise their talent and helping them realise their true calling at such a tender age," Sidharth said.

The episode of the Zee TV show featuring the two actors will be aired on Saturday.
