After getting a rousing welcome on his first US tour, actor-comedian Vir Das is set to take his comedy antics and rib-tickling gigs to foreign shores yet again next year in a bigger avatar. He says it's nice to see foreign audiences appreciating Indian talent.
Vir went to the US with his debut comedy tour last month, and he performed in cities like New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. This time, he will do 27 shows in a span of 35 days.
"It's kind of insane the response we got. I will now be going back and doing close to 27 shows in 35 days. We've also significantly increased the sizes of the venues that we are playing because of the number of people that came out.
"It's nice to see the top comedy market with not just Indian audiences but Americans and every nationality open up to an Indian," Vir said in a statement.
Though the dates and the cities are not yet locked, the tour will happen in March next year.
