The Indian government Wednesday gave its nod for an agreement to do away with a visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and official passports for travel between India and Albania.

The approval was given by the union cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi here, an official release said.

The agreement will facilitate visa-free travel for diplomatic, official and service passport holders of one country while entering into, transiting through, exiting from or staying for up to 90 days in the territory of the other country, the release added.
