Vodafone, one of India's leading telecommunication service providers, on Tuesday announced the launch of Vodafone SuperNet in Odisha.
"Vodafone SuperNet will enhance the mobile internet experience for customers. It will provide faster internet service to the customers, who can download/upload videos and music easily," said Naveen Chopra, Chief Operating Officer of Vodafone India.
He said Vodafone customers in Odisha can enjoy a special inaugural offer to experience Vodafone SuperNet seamlessly with 500 MB of data absolutely free.
However, the company is yet to declare the tariff plan.
Deepak Saluja, Business Head for Odisha, said beginning with Bhubaneswar, the company would expand the SuperNet services across the state in a phased manner.
"Odisha is the 11th populated state in the country. The market has huge potential. We have already invested over Rs 2000 crore to expand, modernise and build a more technology and energy efficient work," said Saluja.

Presently, Vodafone is the second largest telecom operator in Odisha with over 42 lakh consumers.
