Blind voters will be provided poll-related information via voice SMS service in the forthcoming Bengal assembly elections, an Election Commission official said.
"Through voice SMS, blind voters would be able to know about their registration status, their assembly constituency, voter identification number (EPIC), polling station number and name of the polling station," an official said here on Monday.
Polling schedule would also be available through the voice messaging service, according to the official.
