Navdeep Singh Wadali, who is the grandson of Puranchand Wadali -- one half of the Wadali Brothers -- will be seen as a participant in the upcoming singing reality show "The Voice India Kids".

The show, which will feature singers Neeti Mohan, Shaan and Shekhar Ravjiani as coaches, aims at providing a platform to children between the age group of 6 to 14 years to showcase their talent on TV.

Navdeep will give an audition for the "The Voice India Kids" just like other contestants.

"Music is a talent that can be nurtured, but it's god's gift if it runs in the family. There are a lot of expectations from Navdeep from all of us, and we hope he stands up to it," Neeti said in a statement.

Hosted by Jay Bhanushali and Sugandha Mishra, "The Voice India Kids" will be aired on &TV starting from July 23.

Apart from Puranchand, Wadali Brothers also include Pyarelal Wadali.
