Actor Mark Wahlberg, who did his own stunts in "Lone Survivor", almost got killed while shooting the film.
To make the movie, based on a true story of the US Navy's Sea, Air, Land Teams, look authentic, no green screens or VFX were used while filming.
In the process, people got injured on the set.
In one sequence, director Peter Berg blew a mortar on Wahlberg's face from less than two feet away and the film's team feels that was a very close call.
"I did blow him up, by accident, That was close. We almost lost Mark, for real," Berg, said in a statement.
