A misty morning gave way to a sunny and warm Sunday as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 31.6 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast similar weather Monday.
"There will shallow fog early morning tomorrow (Monday)... the sky will remain clear through the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 and 16 degrees Celsius.
A thin layer of fog encompassed Delhi Sunday morning and the minimum temperature was 17.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity settled at 90 percent.
Saturday's maximum temperature was 32.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum 17.1 degrees Celsius, both three notches above the season's average.
