Warm Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be warmer

Delhi experienced a warm Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 41 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a warmer Wednesday.

"The skies will remain clear throughout the day and the mercury is likely to soar," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Tuesday settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

On Monday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
