It was a sunny Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
The Met office has forecast a warm day with partly cloudy sky from noon onwards.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
"The sky is likely to remain clear but it would be partly cloudy from noon onwards. The day would be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 57 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 40.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius -- four notches below the season's average.
