Director and writer Vignesh Shivan, who penned one of the songs in actor Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil actioner "Yennai Arindhaal", says he was very conscious about writing the lyrics.

"When you're writing a song for Ajith's film, it's also for millions of his fans. I was aware of this right from the beginning and that made me very conscious," Vignesh said in a statement.

"Since I was writing for Ajith, I started the song on a positive note with the line 'Ellamae inimae nallathaan nadakkum" (everything that follows will be good)," he said.

He added that the response to the song titled "Adhaaru adhaaru" has been overwhelming.

Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, "Yennai Arindhaal" is slated for release Jan 29.

"I've always wanted to assist Gautham. I'm happy that I actually got an opportunity to write for him. It's a dream come true to be associated with him. Gautham and I discussed and made the first draft of the song in the first meeting on sets," he added.

Also starring Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty, the film has music by Harris Jayraj.
