Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland and Richard Gasquet of France have secured their berths in the season-ending tennis World Tour Finals in London, after contender Milos Raonic was ousted in the third round of the Paris Masters here.

Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic defeated the 22-year-old Canadian 7-6 (15-13), 6-4, while World No.8 Wawrinka and No.10 Gasquet both advanced to the next round in Paris, leaving World No.11 no chance to surpass them in the rankings.

World No.9 Jo-Wilfried was eliminated in the second round of the Paris Masters, and will be overtaken by his compatriot Gasquet, reports Xinhua.

The 2013 World Tour Finals will only feature eight players. The inclusion of Wawrinka and Gasquet has completed the eight-man line-up which also have Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, Juan Martin Del Potro, Roger Federer and Berdych.

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray of Britain, currently third in the rankings, will lose the chance to compete on his home soil due to injury.
