The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said Friday that it was poised to win "a clear majority" in the Lok Sabha.
"We will get a meaningful, clear majority," BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said as the nationwide counting of the millions of votes polled in the Lok Sabha polls gave the party solid leads.
"The results shows that the people of this country are in love with (BJP's prime ministerial candidate) Narendra Modi," he said.
